An ecological approach
Our goal is to combine quality in our services while respecting the environment. In order to preserve resources, we control our consumption of electricity and water as well as the production of our waste.
Our various ecological and environmental approaches enabled us to obtain the Green Key label in July 2020. The Green Key is the first international ecolabel. Its objective is to achieve climate neutrality in the tourism sector and to develop sustainable, ecologically virtuous and socially responsible tourism.
Energy self-sufficient, Made in Louise uses a cogeneration unit that produces electricity with an engine powered by natural gas. We thus heat the hotel and our domestic water. This project was set up thanks to a Belgian company specializing in green energy, Bee Energy Forever®.
We also want to limit the consumption of single-use water bottles. We provide our guests with a filtering water fountain. We also sell reusable bottles in partnership with Join the Pipe®, a Dutch company that promotes fair access to drinking water.
